Bloomin’ Brands Inc. (BBI) - one of the world's largest restaurant brands with approximately 1,500 restaurants across 48 states and 23 countries - needed an experienced store development logistics partner to increase their flexibility and reduce fixed costs.
After partnering, Caliber implemented its system, process and expertise to streamline the supply chain workflow within the organization. The implementation of MyCaliber (IT system) granted end-to-end visibility over active projects, purchase order management, master data, shipment tracking, job-cost budgeting and forecasting as well as roll-out management. Caliber also acts as a so called independent 4PL for transparently finding and booking all national and international transport against the best market-rates for each shipment.
Caliber's processes have increased BBI's overall FF&E supply chain efficiency by reducing costs and time involved. The set-up allowed BBI to minimize the fixed costs associated with the supply for building and refurbishing restaurants. Caliber manages the development and roll-outs for all of the brand's restaurant chains including; Outback Steakhouse,Carrabba's Italian Grill and Fleming's Steakhouse & Wine Bar.
