An important aspect of Caliber involves managing the entire FF&E supply chain as a 4PL. A selection of specialized large (inter)national carriers are fully integrated with the MyCaliber system, allowing us to capture the shipping milestones electronically against each PO. Having access to competitive rates across a wide network of carriers enables our teams to optimally balance costs, lead-times and quality for our customers
For many store development projects we store the FF&E materials close to the job-site for just in time call-off by the general contractor. Within our partner network, we have access to over 200 different DC locations across the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In more than 65 countries around the world we can provide local customs brokerage services, ensuring full compliance with local rules as well as avoiding delays and/or demurrage costs. Our coverage includes upcoming retail markets like India and China.
As the value of store development materials is typically high, they require special care. Our partner network is highly experienced with handling odd sized and/or fragile cargo. We provide ‘white glove’ final mile delivery, with optional services such as unpacking, inspection, removal/disposal of packaging materials, soft installation, etc. Our standard applicable transportation insurance provides our customers with full coverage in case of any damage or loss
Having a large carrier network allows us to choose those that best fit the project profile and geography. For example, SEKO logistics is a longstanding strategic partner of ours with a vast network and over 140 warehouses. Through their network we have a strong presence in the USA, Canada, Europe as well as the Middle- and Far East
